A conversation that starts with you
We begin with whatever is on your mind, and what matters to you guides our conversations.
How It Works
Whether you know exactly what you want to work on, or you’re not quite sure where to begin, we can start right there.
We begin with whatever is on your mind, and what matters to you guides our conversations.
Questions help you look at things from different perspectives and explore the choices available to you.
From greater understanding, you decide what, if anything, you’d like to do differently.
Sometimes you know exactly what you’d like to work on. Other times, you simply have a feeling that something isn’t quite right, but you haven’t been able to put your finger on it. Coaching gives you the opportunity to explore those thoughts, make sense of what matters to you, and begin discovering what you might want to do next.
Our conversations will be guided by what matters to you. I’ll listen, ask questions, and encourage you to look at things from different perspectives. Some questions may be straightforward, while others might make you stop and think a little longer. And that’s often where something interesting begins to happen!
We might explore the choices you’re facing, the patterns you’ve noticed in your life, what you value, or what may be getting in the way of making changes you’d like to make. There isn’t a set of answers I’m looking for, and you don’t need to tell me what you think I want to hear.
Coaching isn’t always about setting goals or taking immediate action. Sometimes, simply recognising a pattern, understanding why you respond to certain situations the way you do, or seeing something from a different perspective can be meaningful progress in itself. From that understanding, you can decide what, if anything, you’d like to do differently.
Life coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process that supports self-awareness, personal growth, decision-making, and meaningful change.
It isn’t counselling or psychotherapy, and it doesn’t involve diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. While feelings and past experiences may naturally come up in conversation, our focus will be on understanding how they relate to your present circumstances, the choices available to you, and where you’d like to go from here.
You bring your experiences, thoughts, and questions. I bring curiosity, careful listening, and questions that help you explore them.
